*** Missing a class on Spires means not clicking 'Starting Class 'within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time ***

In this case the scheduled class expires and the class is marked as missed in your class history.

Spires is easily accessible via your mobile web browser, and you should at always drop the student a message to let them know you are unable to attend a class for any reason, ideally by giving 24 hours notice.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a class then see our article on cancelling/rescheduling classes.

We expect the same from students who you can charge for the full missed class payment if they do not give 24 hours notice before cancelling/rescheduling.

Whilst mistakes happen, routinely missing scheduled classes as a tutor is unprofessional and will lead to your removal from the Spires platform as it generates complaints and unnecessary admin for our staff.

For more information on what we expect from tutors see our house rules.
