By using the Spires platform and requesting or accepting a class, you agreed to our terms on cancelling, rescheduling and missing classes.

*** When you miss a class the tutor has the option to either 1) not charge you 2) charge you 50% or 3) charge you 100% of the missed class payment ***

It is at their discretion whether they charge you or not, and we are bound by our terms to enforce this payment.

If you cannot attend a class for any reason, then you need make sure you send your tutor a message right away to let them know.

On Spires, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required in order to cancel/reschedule a class.

If it is more than 24 hours before the scheduled class time, you can simply cancel or reschedule the class yourself using the 'Classes' tab. Simply locate the class and click the buttons to do so.

You will not be able to cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Tutors have family and work commitments and they are conducting classes and preparing for them around these commitments. It is not reasonable or professional to cancel classes at short notice (no more than you should expect them to).

You need to message the tutor and let them know you will not be able to attend. However, the tutor may charge you if you are giving very short notice, or repeatedly cancelling scheduled classes.

See the guide on cancelling/rescheduling classes for more information.
