Once you have been connected with your tutor, you can speak to them via the Spires messenger.

Go the messages tab and click on the tutor's name. You will then be in the messenger and presented with the following view:

You can then send the tutor instant messages (which are sent by email if they are not online or haven't seen the message within 5 minutes), share a file and request a class.

A green tick by the time and date of your message means that the tutor has seen it.

If they have added their phone number, clicking the purple 'Call Tutor' button will call their phone directly from your internet browser.
