💡Why does this matter?

Operating system and browser updates are essential for:

• Ensuring compatibility with Lessonspace and Spires features

• Preventing crashes, loading failures, and audio/video issues

• Allowing our team to provide proper technical support

Many recent issues we’ve investigated have been caused by outdated software. Keeping your system up to date is the most effective way to avoid disruptions during lessons.

🖥️ Recommended Operating System Versions

Mac (macOS)

• Latest supported versions: macOS Sequoia 15 or macOS Tahoe 26

• macOS 12 and below will soon lose support from several third-party services, including browser updates.

iPad (iPadOS)

• Latest versions: iPadOS 18 and iPadOS 26

• Older versions may no longer support essential updates for Safari, Lessonspace, or audio/video drivers.

Windows

• Latest supported version: Windows 11

Important: Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025.

Windows 10 devices may fail during calls, screen sharing, or loading Lessonspace features.

🌐 Required Browsers

This is the recommended browser for all users:

Google Chrome

• Latest versions: Chrome v138–142 (as of November 2025)

• Chrome updates frequently; please ensure auto-update is enabled.

🔄 Keeping your devices up to date also helps us help you, as outdated systems limit what we can troubleshoot.
