You can only cancel a class if it is more than 24 hours away. To cancel your class, open the classes tab, and find the relevant class and click cancel.
Make sure that you message the tutor and explain what has happened and why. It is good to keep them in the loop, and to also try and move the class to an alternative time.

If you want to cancel a class less than 24 hours before the start time, you will need to speak with the tutor, as only they can cancel it. Often tutors have family and work commitments and they are conducting lessons and preparing for them around these commitments. Hence when a student does not turn up or cancels at short notice, they will charge them for the time. We leave it to tutors to exercise their discretion in this matter.
